Access and Advocacy
We work with land managers, policy makers, local community leaders, and other climbing/recreation groups to help maintain access to the climbing areas around Fremont County. We believe this is important for our sport and hope to continue raising awareness around the work we are doing, while also providing economic benefits to the local community.

June 26, 2023 - “The bill, which would ensure sustainable access to rock climbing in designated Wilderness, enjoys bipartisan support and is one step closer to becoming law.” Read more on the Access Fund page with the link below.
climbing on forest service managed land: public commenting period
January 9, 2024 - The public commenting period is now closed, but follow updates regarding the USDA Forest Service and National Park Service proposals for managing climbing, protecting natural and cultural resources in wilderness area.
