Rebolting and Route Maintenance

At WyoClimbers, we work to regularly maintain the hardware on routes to keep them safe for climbers. In partnership with the American Safe Climbing Association, we have replaced over 6,000 pieces of hardware around Lander to this day.

Notice something that looks unsafe? Report it to us!

Access Fund’s Climbing Advocate Awards

A huge congrats to our Board member - Nate Liles - for receiving the Bolt Replacement & Leadership Award from Access Fund’s 2023 Climbing Advocate Awards! This award “recognize the stewards, conservationists, community organizers, and advocates who bind the climbing community together. These awards are our chance—as a climbing advocacy movement—to honor some of the individuals and organizations who stand out for their exceptional commitment to building communities, stewarding climbing areas, and fighting for sustainable and equitable access.”

In addition to serving on our Board and Access Committee, Nate is the Development Director for the American Safe Climbing Association and has replaced old bolts on hundreds of routes, mostly at popular, high-traffic single pitch crags all over. He has spearheaded many rebolting efforts and developed a number of new routes in Lander and has taught several “rebolting and route development” clinics in our area!

Thank you Nate for all your hard work!
